Our Fairtrade policy

For nearly ten years we at Hardings Catering have endeavoured to provide the customer with choice, particularly in respect to the provenance and ethical sourcing of catering consumables. We now feel that the quality and consistency of these goods has reached a standard that allows us to adopt both Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance products as standard in our day to day catering service.
As of the 1st of April we are please to announce that all our tea, coffee and sugar is ethically sourced and certified. Similarly, our Café catering service will consist of at least 50% Fairtrade products, and we hope to increase this ratio as and when suitable products become available.
In addition, a period of consultation and quality control has left us satisfied that we can now introduce a selection of Fairtrade wines into all our standard and corporate wine lists, and this we have arranged for the new season.
